I was referred to Dr Grey for calcification of the shoulder. Admittedly I had been putting this off for quite some time, so by the time I got to see... read more Dr Grey the pain was quite acute and the calcification quite entrenched.
Dr Grey opted for the non-invasive irrigation approach first, which went as well as could be expected but the prospect of success could not be determined and he could not rule out the need for surgery (not something I was keen on during COVID). He recommended we persevere with cortisone treatment for pain and discomfort and encouraged as much free movement of the shoulder as I could.
Fast forward 9 months later, all the calcification has disappeared and progressing well with rehab to let normal service resume.
A great experience, with a great surgeon and genuinely nice person. I would recommend him to anyone looking for holistic approach to issues of the shoulder.

When I saw my physio 8 weeks after the op she told me she had never seen such a good recovery, post shoulder replacement! I have no more pain - I wish I had had the op months ago!!
